Hi all !

...well... what can i said ? ...i just didn't like some little finished of the h-pipe of my exhaust lines (flowmaster 17119) ... and i send it to chrome.

now the problem is that it looks ...so damn pretty... that i want to chrome the entire rest of the lines.
Only not chrome the ceramic headers and the two black flowmaster boxes...

but .. what about the heat ? it will destroy my chrome ?

Why not ceramic coat the whole thing? Would keep a lot of heat out of the car too.

Hi LK,

I didn't even thought about that... so now is already chromed and i'm happy about the look.

I just wonder if the heat will/will not destroy the chrome... if the answer is yes then maybe i should think another thing

Arturo.-

Usually chrome will turn blue/black with heat.

Heat won't hurt the chrome but it can turn blue if the engine runs real hot. coating the inside of them will help.

I think the bluing from heat looks good on chrome.
