I just purchased a set of the chrome valve covers that are OEM style, without drippers. But as I got home (and home as not where the engine is, so I can't try them right now) and I only saw one valve cover at the store I didn't realize, but I got the pair that have the slant for the brake booster. I'm not opposed to that in itself, but I was using these with Comp Pro Magnum roller rockers and I was going to double gasket. Just wondering if the slant will cause a problem? I know clearance is already going to be tight. Thanks guys.

I am using the stock style valve covers with the slant, Mr. Gasket 1/2" thick gaskets, and Comp Pro Magnums. No Problem..works fine. One thing I had to do was cut the tabs off the gaskets as they did not line up with the notches in the valve covers. Also, don't be surprised if you have to use a wrench to tighten the top 3 bolts, the holes are punched so close to the recess, the head of the bolt barely misses the side of the cover. No way will a socket go over it, good 'ol Taiwanese craftsmanship. ;)
