This is for a 70 SS..How does the factory cowl air cleaner fit? What did you do for a vacuum tap fitting ? I need to run my power brakes and tranny modulator lines..

My 70 is kindof a hybrid car so I hope this approach wont offend any of the purists but I was thinking of just hooking a cable driven selenoid with limiters to the cowl door and then running a wide-open throttle swith and positioning it so it pops open with the sencondaries. I know it's different but it might be a good solution for you if you're running alot of aftermarket parts.....

On my 72 it fits but the hood mashes the seal down pretty good. I forget now exactly how I have the plumbing but I'll get you a pic later. graemlins/waving.gif

I'm not using a CI hood so can't help there, but I'm using a homemade T in the back of the intake,it only has one provision for any kind of vacuum fittings and my carb has none,,,power brakes on one side, modulator line on the other.
