Made it back to the track, race day. Took the correct lugnuts this time, great weather. Found a guy with a meter.........1700'D.A. Signed up for trophy class. Made three passes, all were 1.7x 60's, all were 12.1x At 111.xx MPH. Dialed 12.15 and shut he hood. Won against a 2003 Cobra in the final, he left first with a .2 somthin light. Too bad for him as before half track I had reeled him in and let off to keep a fender on him. I felt like John Force, got a big cheap ass plastic trophy too. Best part of the day was after the racing, spoke with a family that was out for a day at the track. Turns out that the dad is my mail man and had seen the car in my driveway. His 17 year old son just moved to Alaska with the rest of his family. Offered to take the kid for a ride, Dad and son hop in for a ride home from the track. Ask the kid if he had a liscence, cause I was tired of driving. Kid couldnt believe he had the chance to drive. He was a little nervous, but drove home just fine...........He was grinning more than me when they handed me my big plastic, purple and chrome, statue of liberty looking lady on top, Alaska Raceway Park trophy class winner, crossed checkered flags trophy. :D God Bless America, great day to be alive!!!!!!!!!!!! graemlins/beers.gif Oh yeah, my good friend attended today's race, was good to see him back at the track. He was watching closely and confirmed that the drivers side front is coming off the track, was sure that it did and witnessed it again. Cool  :D
