The last time at the track I got to borrow a helmet ,I want to know at what e/t the will ask for the other safety equipment ,roll cage and racing suit ?

It depends on where ya race...NHRA is different from IHRA,independant tracks are different too. NHRA is 12.00 for rollbar,5 point harness, most are 13.99 and quicker for a helmet...IHRA is 11.49 for a rollbar I believe.

Suit is 9.99, I think. Drive shaft loop is 13.99 seconds with slicks and 12.99 with any tire. NHRA anyway. In the 13's it's not bad. 12's there is slightly more stuff you have to do. 11's you start getting into more serious equipment. The 10,s more yet, and the 9's you need a license. Beyond that, I have no idea.

Thanks Robert ,I wont be using nothing else ,just tought that I may need something in 12.99 IF...I can get there ,good to know and one more thing no to be thinking at the track .

What do you do if you have no clue what time your car will produce?

They see a lot of car and he can probably guess. Most likely they will let you run and if you need something, you'll find out. A helmet isn't a bad idea at any ET.
