This weekend, I'm replacing my Rochester 2GC with a new Q-jet intake and a Q-jet. I know I'll need a new air cleaner and adapt my fuel line. Any other things I should be on the lookout for? Thanks.

Check for hood clearance before you slam the hood after the swap.

ya all that extra power you'll get. and the mean sound of the secondaires opening up.

Make sure the linkage and throttle cable are working ok before firing it up. Make sure it returns to closed and that it opens all the way too, without any binding.

Wouldn't hurt to have a few vacuum caps though...the q-jets i've had always had too many vacuum ports.
