I picked up a ss/monty dash with idiot lights for the 70 in my sig, i need the connector that plugs into the PCB on the back of the cluster, anyone know where I can buy one???? I checked with autowire, they dont have the connector seperate from a harness

I would guess that your best bet would be to find someone who replaced an old, tired dash harness with a new one and still has the old harness laying around that you could canibalize for the connector. Or, someone who is parting out a car. Either that or a bone yard - either local or one of the many yards around the country that specialize in cars from the day. Try posting a Want To Buy add and see if you get lucky.

I'm sure that you'd like to buy a new one but I doubt that M&H or Painless would be any different than Autowire in their response. Might be worth a try however. All that it can cost is a couple of phone calls. Now, with that said, IF you were to find someone willing to sell just the connector, you'll still need to sort out which harness wire goes where on an unmarked connector. Might be an easier task using a connector from an old harness that already has the old identifiable wires attached in order to marry it up to the wires on your dash harness.

planned on calling painless tomorrow, theres only one yard around here that has older cars, ive been there a million times, i know he doesn't have one as I bought the last one he had for another car late last year, He hasn't had any new "meat" in for a while

They don't have or won't sell? That's more like it I am sure if they sell you a plug for $10 it's not gonna cut into their profit's too bad.

A plug from like a 70's camaro which has a tach dash uses a similiar plug. Go scrounging the wrecking yards.

isn't the plug the same, but with the wires just rearranged for some reason?
that's the way my 74 Monte was when i ditched the idiot lights and put a gauge cluster in it.
if so, just figure out where the wires go and move a few pins.

I currently have a sweep dash, The connectors arent even close
