I have been wanting to put a big block in my 70 for some time now, but the funds just aren't there so I figured I'd throw a Torker II and a holley that a friend sold me on the 350 for the summer. Everything went smooth exept for the throttle bracket, it is hitting the intake so badly that it can't even be modified to work. I tried several other styles of 4 bbl brackets that a friend had but no luck. Is there a certain one I have to use? Surely not everyone with a SBC and a Holley uses a CSI or other custom piece, any help would be great!

39.00 for a CSI is pretty cheap, and much less of a headache graemlins/thumbsup.gif

True, I agree and will probably be calling Summit if I can't figure it out. I just wanted to see what the norm was with that setup, and honestly didn't realy want to have anodized billet on my motor, as it kinda has that 70's theme going on. Thanks!

This is what I use with my performer RPM.

Yea it is a bit cheap.I had to bend it a little bit to make it stand straight up but it works well and clears my Factory GM 14inch Dropped base air cleaner, wich dropps down more than the Moroso,k&N,and Edelbrock units.
It works a lot better than those cheap ones that mount to one carb stud because these mount to the manifold and don't move.
I used the GM kickdown bracket.
