Anyone have any luck installing these? It appears that they should slide right in, but the metal appears to be too thick for them. Is this the same problem anyone else has had? I bought them from Ricks First Gen Camaro. This is for a 69 chevelle, door lock rod.

year one has the clips.....they list them in the chevelle section but not in the camaro section ...they may be different in application...www.yearone.com....

After painting my 70 I had trouble getting the orginal clips to slide back into locking position. I just put them on the vise and hammered some of the arc out of them. They slide in fine after that.

Sasquatch I could not find them in the Year one site. I tried there first. I looked in the door handles and door area.
I will just try and file the slot a little wider. Did u order some from Year One?
If so did they just slide right in without any modifications?
