The lash on my 280/284 calls for .026, but I lash the cold at .022, is it ok to keep the lash at .022? I just like how much power she made at .022 and did not change to .026 hot after break in we verify lash and kept it at the .022.

Apparently I was writing while you were posting.....

Running the lash at .022" is just fine. I have ran the cam as tight as .018" hot, with no trouble at all. I do not recommend going over .030" hot, although .030" hot is an all-year setting, IF you need more bottom-end.
