Found a shop that is selling Afr 220 heads for $1450, he also said he would sell me a pair of Brownfield (sp) 220 aluminum heads for $1000 free shipping. He said that AFR bought out this company and this head was but together but Mr. Brownfield himself. They are 23* heads and he said he is selling them because the shop now only sells 23* heads, he doesnt have any flow numbers on them and they are brand new. Anybody ever use these heads, better yet anybody have any flow numbers on them?

The AFRs are a superior casting to the old Brownfield stuff. For the prices you were quoted.. Id go with the AFRs.

With the prices quoted would go with AFR's hands down. There have been to many published articles on how well AFR flows. 220's are for a radicle SBC so hope thats what you have?! ;)

If you send me an email & can give you pricing on the 220AFR & it will be a little better then the price you were quoted even with the new price increase ;)
