Ok guys let me pick your brain since my is now empty...... I have a problem with my flasher circuit first I had no power to the flasher hot side... fixed... loose conection behind the fuse box ...still no flash...with the flasher switch off I have power all the way to the turn signal switch connector.. turn on the switch no flash and power goes to zero no test light or volts unitl the switch is turned off.. I then take the connector off and test for continuty with Ohm meter connect to power in brown wire. switch all other legs off turn on power coming from 4 other wires (lights) I tried 3 different flashers and yes my turn signals work... I am lost if the flasher was bad I would think lights on no flash ?? do you think crushed wire cause power amps flow when switch on it pulls to much and breaks contact ??? somewhere ??? I think my next step is to wire direct from the battery to the flasher and see what happens unless someone has a different suggestion....
Thanks

ill get out my wiring diagram and see what i think
I checked out my shop manual and the sitch layout makes no sense it has the flasher tied into LBL which goes to L/H Indicator and L/S parking light ok.... Second tap is DBL goes right to R/S parking light ok.... 3rd tap show it going to white that goes to Brake light Switch ok .. what about rear lights and were is it getting its power from. I will go and check what wires I have continutiy to and post them... Jusat to clairify I am trying to fix my emergency flashers not turn signals Thanks for the help
I got it..... I bypassed the circuit ran a wire to the a flasher and the to the correct side to the flasher connection in the fuse box guess what it worked so going back wards from there. restored the wiring no flash :( wiggled wiring sparks and smoke from fuse box another poor connection i guess when the system called for a load the connection wasn t good enough but was ok for test let and ohm meter..... so the story ends with make sure you have a good conection.... thats for your help
