Looking for the exact location for the rear bumper emblem.

Right there where those two holes are...J/K
Theres a flat area on the upper part of the bumper above the tag and you just center it between the top and bottom. Theres a crease/peak in the middle to line you up with the side to side. Is that what you are asking?

actually there are 3 holes for the emblem in a '71-'72 SS rear bumper, & one of them is square!;)

YEP and I learned this after taking my bumpers home to clean them up when the car was in the body shop. I wanted to take the SS emblem off the bumper (grill too) because the car is not a "real SS". So after further inspection, there would be holes visible after I took the emblem off...so I took it off, cleaned up the bumper and emblem and put it back on.

Yes, I was looking for some kind of measurment on exactly where it went, and no, there are no old holes to use ;)
