Hello everyone. I am trying this out for the first time. When i had my car painted the "wonderful" painter accidently pulled the antenna plug out of the back of my radio? so the metal casing stayed in the back of the radio and the cable came out. Is there any fixing this? I heard i can buy some type of a screw on plug for it? I really don't want to have to replace my whole antenna just for this. Mostly because its new. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Remove the old plug outer casing from the back of the radio and solder a new plug on to the coax
