Anyone have the latest on these GM crate engines. I'm interested in the hi compression version. Anyone seen any 3rd part dyno testing? The GM Performance web site does not even show it in the crate engine area.... me thinks that's kind of odd. Have they announced a real sell date?
FYI: It's been over a decade sense the General sold a hi-compression (>12:1) BBC crate. I bought a number of LS-7's and at the time it was a great deal.

70SS. Do you have any idea what GM is calling a partial on the Hi Comp version. Is that a short block less cam or with cam?

I'm not sure. If I were you, I'd click on "contact us" and e-mail them(gmpartsdepot). I did and they responded in less than 24 hrs.
