I am currently trying to find out if the 8.2 10 bolt is the same in a 64 and a 66 chevlle anyone have any ideas??

I'm almost positive the 64-66 8.2 10 bolts are identical.In 67 they were the same width;but had different spring perches.JMHO. Tony

So can I swap even a 67 rear into a 64 if the spring perches are diff does that mean springs are different or same springs just mount different??

ANY of them will work but the 67 was the last short one and yes the springs are different as the 67 has a raised hump for the spring to seat on
