Hi,
Can anybody tell me how I can fix this? I don't want to buy a whole new roof for just that part. Could I fabricate some metal to go there? The second link is right under the end of the driprail near the rotted area in the first link.
Thanks,
Ethan

sorry but in California those pics show ALOT of rust- here I'd try to find a donor car and at the least splice the donors car pieces in....however WHO KNOWS what other rust lurks- a total roof and quarter may be necessary- need to look at the whole car...

if i where in your shoes i would find a brake and bend up a piece.....its really not as hard as it seems and the metal is so rigid in that area that its also forgiving....try it an post some pics when done

I agree, there is going to be other rust lurking elsewhere in that quarter, a full quarter may be the way to go. It looks like the roof may be fine since the quarter extends past the rusted areas.

IMO you need a full new quarter panel.
You'll find more rust then just that.
Your drip rail is also infected with rust, not a easy fix as the drip rail is part of inner structure of roof.
Fabbing a piece of metal would be fine, but do you have a break, means of stretching the edge to make the metal curve? Can you make a reverse compound panel cause thats what you have? Something much more involved in bending a piece of flat metal and welding it in. You will need to shape or add curve to that piece to make the install look good.
