: Pics after picking her up from the detail shop
Sergio 69 SS396 Mar 27th, 08, 10:52 PM This detail shop here in San Francisco (California Details) did such an incredible job. The paint feels so, so, so, smooth. And they did another great job with the engine compartment and truck AND undercarriage. What do you guys think?

69396ss Mar 28th, 08, 10:27 AM I was curious what they actually did (besides Buff the paint) and what the service cost?
Sergio 69 SS396 Mar 28th, 08, 10:47 AM Hey John, they really sharp guys there saw I had the very old paint and said they would have to be VERY careful. They would even have to do the stripe separately and would avoid the black rear panel and all bezels. So I got a good feeling from them. They weren't some teenager at a wash and wax place ready to F up the paint. They said they would use 2 layers of this and 3 coats of that. I wasn't really sure what he was talking about as I know nothing about waxing or polishing. They had my car for 3 days and it cost $495 out the door. He mentioned something like Zona Brothers products are the best, but I'm not sure. You should call them if you really want all of the info. Thanks for the thoughts!
69396ss Mar 28th, 08, 11:23 AM I was just thinking it would be nice to do a detailing buisness on the side of some type. Engine detailing, that kind of thing.
Looks good!
Morin69ss396 Mar 28th, 08, 11:39 AM looks awesome !! I can't wait for mine to be in paint. I just put the epoxy primer on mine last Friday .

dmg1029 Mar 28th, 08, 5:56 PM Looks very nice. I do have a few comments and please don't take them the wrong way...
In the engine compartment, I suggest some nice spark wire looms and routing. I also suggest replacing the rubber fuel line and using some wire looms on the single wires along the inner fender (yellow wire)...
Do you have any pics of the inside??
Enjoy!
