Hello, I have topic searched and can't seem to find this very simply question answered. 1970 Chevelle S/W 454-4sp. WHAT BRAND OF HEADERS WILL FIT WITHOUT THE TORCH? Thanks, I don't want to beat the poor things before their performance. :(

I had no problem with my '70 454 car using Dynomax ceramic coated 1 3/4" headers. The price is right also. Good luck, Skip

I'm also using the 2455's. No problems at all. They went on easy. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I'm running Summit headers (made by Dynomax) part # SUM-G9010 for $79.95 1 3/4" primary/3" collectors..they fit perfect on both 4 speed and automatic big block 'velles very well with no beatings graemlins/thumbsup.gif price is right too.FYI,I stripped the factory "shipping paint" (the paint that just keeps them from rusting but burns off when you 1st start it) Then painted them with black hi-temp VHT..I'm going on 2 years with them, and they look mint (and sinister too,in black ;) )

Okay, thanks for the input. 2455's it is. Now when I find out my car is to low for them, I'll be asking about shorties. Thanks again. tongue.gif
