When I bought my 66 vert these wheels were installed on the back. Two normal jk's were on front. These strange wheels measure 14x6 w/3.5" of back spacing. There's no markings on them that I can see other than a GM on one of the nubs. Any ideas as to what they are off of?

I know the 1960 chevrolets have the steel wheels like that maybe 1959 as well. the little nubs that you see on the inside of the outer front part of the wheel were used to hold on the full size wheel covers. Those little nubs are the first clue to the year. 1961 and up Full wheel covers have the tabs or teeth that grip the rim when installed.

Thats a good possibility I'm just confused why I would have two different wheels front and back. I bought the car from the original owner and I asked him about it when I found out and he doesn't remember ever having any reason to replace the wheels.

Ask the original owner if they ever had snow tires??? Maybe they lived somewhere else years ago???

Yep-----59-60 Chev passenger wheels
The full wheelcovers were retained the SAME way as the Ralley wheel caps of 67+.
Not one of GM's better ideas. Same as the Ralleys, these covers lose their retention capabilities after a few installs.
Every time they are installed, a little dent will appear in the retaining area of the cap.
Eventually----they will not stay on.
