I have seen several '70's that have real nice interiros in them. But it seems that more often then not the seat covers are missing the metal pieces that go in the back of the seat.

So which repo places offer good seat covers with a place to mount the metal pieces? Sorry for the vague terms but I don't know exactly what they are called.

OPGI sells very nice seat medallions.

I actually meant the seat covers themselves. But I would imagine that if they sell the medallions that they would sell seat covers that you could put them on. :)

Or do all seat covers come the same and you actually have to cut the vinyl to mount them? I've never actually taken a '70 seat apart to see how they are actually held on there.

OPGI also sells very nice factory-style seat covers and replacement seat foams. They are custom cut to fit whatever vehicle and year they are ordered for. The one thing you may want to consider is the condition of your seat foam. If it's sagging and in poor condition than you may also want to replace this.

The medallions have to be punched through the seat cover to be installed.

I'd look into Legendary if I were you. Very good stuff.
