I'm having a tough time gtting a good pattern, and I'm not too used to dealing with used gear's.

that pattern is not too bad, actually looks doable. i would like to see the drive side, i bet it looks worse.
i like to use a tighter b/l for gm gears , .006. if i recall correct, so does the manual.
used gears are the worst, i always try and talk people out of them and charge more to set them up. tom

I'm thinking, after dinner, I'll pull another 3-5 off the pinion. See what that does.
FRYNTYR Mar 27th, 08, 11:38 PM Dave, are you using this in your chevelle and gonna race it. It does look a little deep in the tooth but i like to run just a touch deeper on high horse stuff that's gonna get trashed. It will climb out a little under hard acceleration.
I would probably run that. Maybe .001-.002 shallower at the most.

how hard are you going to punish them? should be alot of fun. i plan on getting mine pushed harder this year. tom

I was running 13.0 last year with 3:08's, and alot of tire slip. 3:31's, and some new slick's I oughta be into the low 12's this Year, I hope.
