I have several hundred Super Chevy and Chevrolet High Performance mags and they are mostly in boxes and I also have about a 3 year run of CHP in the top of my Craftsman toolbox in 2 different stacks. The best way I found to preserve magazines that you want to keep indefinitely is to store them individually in 1- gallon Zip-Locks.

I have boxes full. I even have most of the Summit catalogs. Not sure what I will ever do with the stuff.

I just had to move all mine from the mid 80's up until today.
OUCH! My aching back! :D
I hate to do it, but I see recycling in their future...:(

Why not pass them on to the folks that would appreciate them? Kids, family members, nephews/neices, or even send them off to the troops overseas. Im not sure if the troops accept something that old though.

My oldest son is 7. And I don't think I could inflict 1986 paint jobs on folks serving in Iraq. They have enough stress as it is! :D
I store them in the big clear plastic tubs with the lid. Some stores still have the Rubbermaid ones that are made in the USA.
