I changed the master cylinder on my car today. It has front discs and rear drums. The old one looked horrible and leaked from the lid but the brakes worked great. I bench bled the MC and installed it. The problem is I cant get fluid from the rear bleeders. I even removed one completely and had my wife pump the brakes and no fluid. I'm getting good fluid up front and a good pedal when pumped. Also when I start the car I don't have any pedal. Any clues as to why I have no fluid at rears. Maybe bench bleed again or another solution? Thanks.

You can try bleeding the MC again in the car. Jack up the rear to get as even as poss.
If you did not go from bench to car asap then you got some air back in it.
If your loosing pedal after starting car and using a booster then its generally in the MC and a air issue.

I created another post after I thought I found my problem. The new MC had a hole in the rubber under the cap and it leaked from the lid.
I ordered a new one and installed it yesterday. Bench bled it really good with hoses attached to the ports. I put it on , jacked up the rear of the car, and told my wife to pump the brakes. Again no fluid to the rears.
So I started at the prop valve and broke eery line lose until I found a joint with no fluid. Turns out the rear hose was blocked solid. I ordered a new one and should have it today. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.
