I bought a 72 with a 402 about three years ago and just now have enough money to start really working on it. I ran the casting numbers and it has 97.2cc oval port heads (3856206). I am ordering parts and am not sure which pistons to go with. I'm wanting about 10:1 compression without too much head modification. Any suggestions?
Also I found out that it was not an original SS, so the instrument cluster has the long sweeping speedo and no tach. Any ideas on switching the gauges without breaking the bank. I'm just a poor college kid after all.
