hello everyone. I am currenty in the middle of restoring my 68 chevelle and im almost done 1st car by the way the next thing i need to do is put a headliner in and i believe i have most of what i need but i want to double check does any 1 have a list

if ur getting an upholsterer to do it for u they should know exactly what you need....but i'm pretty sure what u need is the insulation to go between the headliner and the roof (not a necessity but a VERY good idea to help conserve your headliner), the headliner itself, the rods that go across the roof to hold the headliner in place, some people throw these out for some reason i have no idea why...i'm pretty sure thats all you need i hope that answers your question. i assume you already have the rear sails....

ya i have the sails but dont you also need front and back windlace trim an i was wondering if they also have trim on the sides to hold it in or if it is jus the front and back that have it

i know mine has the plastic trim around the front and rear window as well as the driver and passenger side windows..whether or not they hold the headliner up im not sure...i dont think they do thats what the rods are for....the trim although essential is more of a cosmetic thing (at least from my understanding) if anyone knows better please correct me for zach's sake and mine hahaha

HEY WHEN I TOOK MY 68 TO THE SHOP TO INSTALL THE HEADLINER I FOUND THAT THERE ARE LITTLE PLASTIC CLIPS THAT HOLD THE LINER IN PLACE. MOST OF THESE GET BRITTLE AND BREAK AND MUST BE REPLACED. IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE LET ME KNOW AND I CAN LET YOU KNOW HOW AND WHERE I BOUGHT THESE.:thumbsup:
