I think i know the answer to this question but i have to ask anyways.

I put in my inner valve springs and while i was at it i changed over from long slot rockers to 1.7 roller rockers. this is on a a BBC by the way

Maybe its just in my head but it sounds like my cam is a little more rumpitier, (rumpitier is a word right)

Am i crazy or what?

the long slot rockers actual ratio may not have been a full 1.7 like the rollers and that slight difference in the valve lift/duration may have been enough to hear ....... :)
