New to Chevelles so forgive me on a dumb question. I'm looking at buying a 1967 Chevelle SS, how do I tell if it has the original transmission in it or not. I know in camaros it had the vin# on the case.

It too will have a VIN stamped on it and as well as an assembly date that should coincide with the car's build date.

Should not be hard to find it
