i need the torque specs for the crank pulley bb chevy. and for the water pump pulley again bb chevy. my concern is the water pump pulley i have a plastic flex-a-lite fan and the fan is smashing in at the bolts when i torque it. i also in the past have stripped out the bolt hole in the aluminum mounting plate on the water pump. i would hate for the fan to come off when the motor is running. i also am afraid off stripping the mounting plate again.so whats tight enough? thank you, if you understand what im tring to say can anyone help.

I think about as tight as you can get it with a 6" wrench should be plenty, you don't need to kill it with 4 bolts holding it on. If your Arnold Swarzenagar maybe use a little 3" wrench :rolleyes:
