Plonking along... I fit up my PowerMaster 8526 starter motor today, and I see this much engagement into my new McLeod billet flywheel teeth. Is this enough? This car will get driven maybe 5000 the rest of its life. It's a big block with a mild 9.5:1 comp ratio, but the initial timing is 20 degrees.

Please click the thumbnail and tell me what you think, is it enough engagement?

Thanks fo your help.

I have a powermaster and mcleod flywheel setup as well. It engages about the same. The teeth show minor wear now but shouldnt be a problem for hundreds of starts more.
