My driver side door is off a 69 i think..... it has the cutouts for the wing windows but is diffrent than the original door on the passanger side. i just started trying to line up my body panels and am running into some problems with the driver side door. lines that arnt the same and such.. has anyone ever encountered this before????:confused:

the body lines on a 69 and 68-door are the same....
got any pictures?

maybe someone stuck a 70-72 door on, then the body lines would be different in the curves and creases.......

The very top body line is different from 68 to 69 at the top body line by the fender, one curve up and the other year curve in.
This has been talked about here in the past and I will see if I can find the thread in the morning.

Another thing, concerning door panels, the '69 has the lock button moved foreward.

the differneces are minor but enough to bug me, i am getting it ready for paint and that diffrence is to big to ignore. when i said body lines in my previous post i meant the gaps inbetween the door and the fender / quarter. thanks for all the help!!

Hmm, I had a 69 with one 68 door on it and I never noticed any difference other than having the vent wing. (not that I payed that much attention to a car I was parting out)
