1. Is this a good deal, yes I know I could buy everything separate but I don't know what I'm buying or what I need?

2. I looked on ground up and year one and they sell kits but it doesn't list whats in them is this similar to their kits?

3. If the answer to question 2 is yes will someone please post a link.

Thanks for all your help and may the swartz be with you.

Good eye. I didn't catch that!!
Ground up kit is starting to look better now!!
Ground Up
Our kits use the original OEM style forward lamp harness specific for a car with factory gauges. Some of our competitors will use an extra ammeter wire lead to jump the harness.

I bough the same kit from the same guy on ebay and am extemely happy with it. Perfect fit, pretty easy swap and looks damn good. And he was quick to reply with advice when I had a couple questions. He gets a thumbs up from me.

Anyone know who makes the instrument cluster? I can get everything else direct, except that.

One of my long time friends is a Chevelle restorer here in Phoenix. One of his clients bought that same kit from ebay and has had horrible luck with it. Problems mentioned were fitment and the gauges quit working after 2 months time. The client hated the whole set up so much that he went and found an OEM dash with gauges, restored it best to his abilities, got rid of the Ebay setup and called it a day.

I'm about to install a conversion kit in my 70 Chevelle . Is it better to do it one step at a time, put the dash in by its self ,then add the gauges ,then the harness . All at once does seem to be the easy way but i'm worried about cracking the dash. I hear the repo dash seems to crack easy . Any feedback would be a big help ....... Thanks Guys
