does anyone have any tips / Dimensions for lining up doors and fenders on a 68 velle? my passenger side is all screwed up and the drivers side isnt much better. one dimension that would be really helpful would be how high are the fenders supposed to sit above the firewall.

Fit the doors first to the quarter panel.
Once the doors fit the quarter fit the fenders to door.
Any other method is a waste of energy and time...Eric

There are no dimensions or numbers, almost every car is an individual. As stated above the quarters a fixed, so start there and work forward.

Have your quarters been replaced?

yeh, both sides have been replaced. i just started a new post in the body shop section, i think that one of the problems is the driver side door is from a 69, there are some minor diffrences compared to my passanger side

I messed with mine for many many hours before I finally gave up and got help from an experienced body man.

Maybe this is in your other post, but were the doors on and the quarters aligned with them when they were replaced?

i had a body guy do it in town. he messed it up, i am thinking he just handed it over to one of the kids in the shop. the doors werent aligned when he put in the quarters, and my fenders are maxed out of adjustment
