1964 Chevelle SS in Minnesota
I am looking for the owner of a 1964 Chevelle SS that was sold by my uncle in the mid 80's
it was a lighter blue metallic with blue interior. the car had bucket seats and back seat out of a 1967 Caprice, stock 64 floor console. tilt steering column and factory wood wheel out of the same 1967 chev Caprice. the car had pontiac rally II wheels at the time of sale. Wondering if the car is still around, and would like to talk to the current owners.
Anybody know of this car??

Do you have any more info? Where was it sold? Minnesota is a large state.

Minnesota is a large state.
that may be true, but how many 1964 chevelles do you know of that have a blue interior from a 1967 CAPRICE? Like I said it was sold in the 80's in Minnesota around the Twin Cities. Where the car was when it was sold has absolutely nothing to do with where the car could have ended up. So if anybody knows of a 1964 chevelle that fits my first description, please let me know.

When you say 67 Caprice interior here. Is this basically seats and a console or much more then that? I cant recall anything personally, but with 67 Caprice seats looking just like any other 67 seat. If I have seen it, my mind probably went to a thought of a nice 64 Chevelle with 67 (or even the 68 model) seats in it. However, a console would be a much more standout to me, in which, I dont recall ever seeing a 64 with a 67 Impala console in it.

Factory Chevelle console.
Tilt column and factory 1967 wood wheel from the caprice.
1967 Buckets and back seat from the caprice. The caprice has a very distinct pattern on the seats. I guess to me it would be very obvious, I tend to take mental notes of cars and also tend to notice odd things like the interior if it is not factory.
anywyas I have not seen the car since 1985 it may not even exist anymore. Who Knows??

Iknow of a former coworker who bought 2 1964 chevelles. One was a SS and the other was a parts car. He bought them circa 1998/99/00 from someone who had had them for "a while" but never got to restoring them. I don't know the whole story really.
