It is hard to say with the info that you gave. I would guess 550-600hp with mildy reworked oval port heads.

If you have racing plans then spend the money on an engine dyno session - much good tuning can quickly be done during an engine dyno session. You might be amazed how your first dyno pull reveals that you DON'T make the power you thought.
If you have no racing aspirations then just go ahead and make up whatever number you feel comfortable with for the curiosity seekers at car shows. There is no good way to GUESS horsepower. I can't even say the computer simulation programs have ever been similar to any of the engines I have built - just my experience. Computer modeling is just a more detailed quess - you'll need cylinder head flow data through a range of lift to something close to your camshaft profile. Then there is the whole thing about ignition and fuel curves. Most engines will need an ignition curve tailored to the engines needs, same with carburator setup.
Good luck, and have fun.

69RallyGreen,
What Thomas/Bomber '67 said is true.
What I have seen is in excess of 625 BHP about 6500, depending upon your individual heads and how they flow. Professionally-ported and flowed heads will make quite a bit more. You will definitely need a good fuel system, something that pumps 220+ GPH. I have always fed that cam with 2 Holley 110s, 1/2" line, and 2 regulators. This set-up is good for over 2/10ths compared to 1 holley 110 and regulator.
If your car is around 3200 lbs, you have a 5000 SS converter and 4.88-5.13 gears, you should be running faster than 10.50s.
It also makes one heck of a daily-driver, except for that 12.5:1......

Yeah, that 12.5:1 compression ratio DOES kind of affect any sort of street duty smile.gif If you don't dyno it, then the dragstrip will be your dyno - not a bad idea really. Only downside to using the dragstrip for dialing in your engine is that it takes a whole lot longer and you have to be careful to isolate chassis and trans issues.
Should be a blast to drive.

thanks i think a dyno sounds like the right thing to do ...mike
