I've recently installed an A/C delete plate on my '70 and have run into a problem. The switch won't lock into the off position, all the way to the left. This means my blower motor is constantly running now. I'm not sure if there's a spring or some type of lock that holds this in place. Anyone know what the deal is?

sounds like your clamp that holds the cable. it may be loose. if the screw is tight, then you may have to put something around the cable so the clamp will tighten up. good luck. roger
