It always seems like the we overlook the small things once in a while and this time I decided to make sure that the oil pan really was full when the dipstick said full. I have the tricked out moroso #20403 and when the pan arrived with the dipstick that the sales rep said it needed I noticed that the dipstick tube had an NPT end and the pan had no threads(a moroso universal dipstick they said, lol).
I then ordered a Lokar #5003 because I like the
double O-ring seal idea and the low profile hieght.
The Lokar when seated in the pan sits about an inch to low and therefore makes the full line become the add line!
I know many will probably say just put the correct amount of oil in it and make a mark on the stick. I just figured this should not be that hard to get right!
So...whats the proper dipstick for these pans?
Thanks all!
