View Full Version : alumitech reproduction radiators Tom G Mar 22nd, 08, 1:00 PM Has anyone bought one? I'm looking for a radiator for a 69 396 with air and before purchasing one from Alumitech(which advertise here on this site) i would like to know if there are any pros or cons.Do they cool well? They look very nice in the pictures and descripition. I would paint it black. Thanks guys. Trying to avoid a big $$$$ mistake. Stock fit (literally), lightweight, cools great, I painted my tanks black also for the stock look. To give you some quick piece of mind, just do a search with the word "Alumitech" and all your worries will melt away. Use the Eastwood radiator black paint if you buy one which I and many other members highly recommend! I painted mine black. It was direct oem replacement. I running a flex fan. It cools well but I think I need electric fans for sitting in traffic for long periods of time.
