I have two holes just under an inch and a half under the air box on my 67's firewall. The previous owner put some kind of foam over them. Any ideas on what the holes were for? After market A/C maybe? Thanks Greg.

heater hoses??

My guess is an incorret heater core was used (instead of the copper elbows off to the side they were located on the bottom). Just a guess though.

The correct holes are on the right side, I had to crop the photo.

My guess is the car had an add on ac unit that has since been removed.
