Well...I was going along at a nice pace on my deconstruction and getting ready to start the rebuild - and my boss informs 16 of us employees last week that he decided to sell the company and retire...and we could all re-apply at the company who bought him out. Nice, huh? Problem is I worked at that company 10 years ago and told them where they could stick it when I left. I was not offered a position - go figure...so my unemployed butt has to put my Chevelle on hold indefinitely. THIS SUCKS!!!! I planned on being on the road by July!

Anyone in NW Ohio looking for an Architectural Designer/Project Manager/Structural Designer/Construction Administrator????

Sorry to hear that, especially coming into spring. Good luck though, you'll find something.

thats why you never burn bridges! I worked with a guy trying to get into the papers. A full time opening popped up and he would have got the job, but when they pulled his old file, he just didnt show up for work when he worked there years ago. jim

Hang tough my bother! Go back and swallow some pride and tell them you were emotionally bent - that you re a good worker and get the job back. Then work like hell finding another one. Focus on priorities! Family, Chevelle, Church, Work.... - not necessarily in that order

Sounds like a good plan. Its allways easier to find a new job when you don't have that currently unemployed pressure to deal with.
