I posted a question about a 402 build and am not getting any answers either. I have a set of 327 High performance heads and was going to build a 327 myself but I found a 402 BB cheap so I went that way. I couldnt find those casting numbers off your heads. Do you know the particulars? cc size, valves? I'd imagine your heads and intake are probably why its a 245hp.

Mortec has a bunch of good info on your heads and Block.

According to my calculator, the difference between a 300 hp engine and a 325 hp engine is 25 hp.
What shape is your 245 hp 327 in? Your heads are probably 3917293's, 75cc smoggers. Assuming a reasonable lower end, a set of 64cc Vortec heads, a 220° cam, generic headers, a 4-bbl intake manifold and 600cfm carb should put you close to 300.
