Is it ok to mix a 110 octance leaded racing fuel with a 94 octane premium fuel?

I've done it for years without any problem.I tried to keep it at about a 75% race fuel to 25% pump gas mixture.

thanks for the input. What octane rating on the racing fuel do you use?

Does all "racing" fuel have the lead in it?

VP 104 (red) does not contain lead and will not mess up 02 sensors. I generally use 50/50 mix of VP 112 or Sonoco 110 with 93 pump gas. Sometimes I even run 2 gals of race fuel for every three gals of pump gas. I have an 11:1 compression engine with an XE 284 Comp Cams cam. For daily use 93 does just fine. If you run too much ocatane for your set up, you will actually lose horsepower. Too much octane is similar to running less timing. Use only as much octane as you need to keep your engine from pinging, a little more if using nitrous.

I mix 1 gal 108 with 4.5 gals 91, makes about 94 octane. Seems to works OK. 10.5:1 with a 296º cam.

They don't sell 93 at every gas station there is where you are? Is that only california or the western part of the US? Any logic behind it?
