UPS delivered my carb Friday afternoon. I just finished installing it. Now I am sitting waiting impatiently for spring.This really sucks, all dressed up and no place to go.

Sweet, What's it going on and what did you get from Mr. James? I am in the same boat, all sorts of new goodies and spring is a long way off. New Pro Systems 1000hp, swapped the 3.70 for 4.11, installed a line lock, scored front skinnies, and picked up a set of SSM lift bars from a fellow team member. I want spring time now, still a few months out in Alaska.

I want spring time now, still a few months out in Alaska. Craig, mine is going on a wee little small block. 406, 10-1 compr.,edelbrock 200cc e-techs,Lunati 276/284 solid f.t., eddy air gap intake. He built a 750dp for me. I think he calls it his XC line of carbs, I don't have the info right here.I fired it up with the new carb and had a very high idle. Instead of charging in and adjusting things like a dummy(usual) I gave him a call and he led me by the hand on how to adjust a few things. I have to say his procedure was quite a bit different than anything I have read. The engine seems to have incredible throttle response with this carb. Spring is still a ways away here but the weather has been nice here. If this keeps up for a few more days I may just sneak out early saturday and take the new engine for a blast.
Me thinks the bfg's might be in for a little traction problem :D

If I could find dry / ice free pavement I would be on it like two coat's of paint. Come on Global warming, I am ready for some spring time!!!!
