My friend has a Torker 2-R on his 427 with a solid cam with a little under .600 lift. Its a drag only engine and we were wondering how the RPM intake would compare. Anyone tested these intakes on a mild big block? He ran a 7.31 in the 1/8 with a 1.61 60' but we were bracket racing and had no time to change the tune. I can see 7.00's or 6.90's in better air with the torker.

If there are no hood clearance issues there are much better intakes than the Torker, the RPM would be better. They would probably peak at around the same hp level, but the RPM would produce more avergae hp and tq.

I agree if no clearence issues get something else.

Thanks for the input. The car has a glass hood with a scoop so a tunnel with two fours would fit if needed. He has a Victor intake that he ran on a hotter engine, may give it a try.
