I need a little help with selecting mufflers. I need something very compact, but won't get me any tickets or hearing loss.

I was looking at Spintech mufflers but have never heard them before. Anyone ever heard them?

What about using two race type mufflers on each side?

I am very limited on width and height, but have quite a bit of length to use. I want to run the pipes outside the frame rails, but not have them hang way down below the body. I want something with a 3" in and a 3" out. The quiter the better.

Oh yeah - this is for the 454 in my '90 s-10 Blazer.

Race mufflers can barely be called mufflers, they are very loud.

I am doing some experimenting and started cheap with the summit turbos on my 454. I will have tem on tomorrow if the weather is good. WI weather you never know. As far as the spintechs go if I am correct I don't think the po-po's will like them??

How the hell do you figure on running 3" pipes and mufflers OUTSIDE the frame rail? not have it hanging down? and be quiet? Your dreaming dude! :D

I live in Brookfield. Just got them put on and they are too quiet  I guess the flowmaster 40's are coming now.
