CAN ANYONE GIVE ME AN IDEA IF I HAVE A 1970 SS . iTS A CONVERTIBLE ROUND GAGAUES, F-41 SUSP, FRONT DISC BREAKS THE 454 ORGINIAL IS LONG GONE, BUCKETS :confused::beers: TH400 TRANSMISSION, 12 BOLT NON-POSI, POWER STERING ETC, ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS PLEASE, NO ISULTS

There is no way to tell without documentation unless it a Canadian car.
Nothing you mentioned means it is an SS

All of the items you have listed can be changed. Like Dean said, unless the car comes with documentation, there is no way to tell. Also, please turn the caps off.

I pretty sure all 70 verts are LS6's.:D Don't you look at ebay.

Ive got most of that stuff in my 70, but I installed all of it myself. You never know whats been done to a car in the last 38 years. remember back in the day, you could pick up a wrecked chevelle SS pretty cheap, and if you had a nice convertable it didnt take much to swap out all the parts. Jim
