I did rockers first. They were from a donar and the inners were attached to the outers. Then I did the floors and braces. My rebuild thread may have some helpful pics. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197595

Why not buy the complete floor with rockers attached and save yourself some work and headache?

Great price for a chevelle, but this is for my 56 chevy 2dr ht, it cost 2800 +. and minus the rockers on it

As factory I think that the floors are first, then inner rockers, then floor braces, then outer rockers.

See there's your problem...you need a chevelle. :D

And far as bracing. Yes, the more the better. Take measurements too. Good luck.

This is true because it is a full stamped 1 piece floor (not 2 halves welded together) with the 8 floor braces factory spotwelded to it with no inner or outer rockers. I think the price is so high because the market will bear it in the tri-five world. I have installed one and it is a nice piece. No different than the chevelle one in quality but 3x the price. Go figure.
I say put in all the braces, full front floors, inner/outer rockers and it will save you a ton of cash. Hell then you can even afford a full trunk floor and all those braces too! (if you need 'em)
