Hey guys i'm new round here and currently live in Australia (i'm aussie by birth) but will be moving to the US in the next couple years with my american wife...I presently do not own a Chevelle, in fact i'm on the other side of the spectrum and have a highly modified MkIII supra with a 700hp setup, when i move i need to sell that and have decided to go back to muscle cars as i started driving with a 1974 XBGT coupe aussie muscle car.

I will probably be after a 68-70 model SS when i move over, something i can build up myself...so hopefully reading through these forums i can get a bit more knowledge into what i'll be getting myself and what to look for when i go to buy one. I wont care too much what condition it is in, just as long as its not rusted out...

Anyhoo thats about it...later peeps! :beers:

Welcome! I've met many Aussies here in the states that are into muscle. One guy that owns a Yellow/white right hand drive 55 Chevy makes the power tour every year. That guy is N u Ts! In a good way ;) Sounds like you're going to fit right in!!!!!!

Cheers for the welcome guys! been reading through threads trying to get a feel for how things are done in the states with body shops and such (as i suck at body work, some i can do but the paint side i would ruin).

does anyone on here know while i'm at it what sought of price a body with no/little rust goes for? i'm guessing it can vary alot, i'll be moving to Arkansas if that helps any...but i dont want to buy something finished or with matching #'s cause i'll be taking it a long way from stock.

Cant wait to move over, till then i'll get my Chevelle fix on here! :D
