My new dash is installed and the new dash gas-gauge is good - but everything reads "high" about 1/4 tank.
At Full, it's slightly above the full mark and when it's Empty, it's just below a quarter tank.

1) How to fix - mechanical (bend needle!) or electrical?
2) How do you guess I found this out? Ha.... ;)

When I was reinstalling mine after I replaced the speedo. I found that I had moved the needle. Key off, It read 1/2. Full was way past the full mark. Worked correctly before I removed it. I just removed the guage and set the needle on E. Works fine now.

If your was correct before. Just adjust the needle.

It's a "new" needle from another donor dash. But I will try this - probably will work.

Before you physically start working on your gauge to move the needle, check the quality of the ground from the sending unit. A poor ground will cause your problem.
