I am looking for a upper lock plate for a 68 ss hood? Does anybody know where i might be able to fine one? I have looking in some of the catalogs i have but they dont have one for a 68. Thanks

Can you be a bit more descriptive. I think I have one for you.

OK let me give it a try. It attaches to the hood, it is what the latch "catches" to hold the hood down. I am not even sure what it looks like.

Is it a specific to SS hoods, or would any 68 hood work. I have 3 stock 68 hoods I could peel one off for you if you need it.

I dont know if there is a difference or not. Any ideas? Can anybody else shine some light on this?

can you post a picture of what you have? I think it might work.

I'll take a look tonite, and post a pic of the hood underside, you can tell me what piece you need.
